QA900 Series – 900W Waterproof Smart Battery Charger
A sealed 900W charger for 12V to 72V battery packs, with selectable charging current and automatic multi-stage profiles for lead-acid, Li-ion and LiFePO4 chemistries. It is used for cycle charging and float charging in electric sightseeing vehicles, patrol vehicles, floor scrubbers, AGVs, ships and similar fleets.
Why Choose the QA900 Series
- One charger, six battery voltages. 12V / 24V / 36V / 48V / 60V / 72V versions share the same platform, with charging current selectable from 10A to 30A.
- Correct curve for every chemistry. Each voltage variant has its own constant-voltage point for lead-acid, Li-ion and LiFePO4, with a matching transition and cut-off current – see the table below.
- Sealed for wet and dusty sites. IP65 / IP67 / IP68 sealed construction in a 280 x 197 x 85 mm case, 3.5 kg, with 100-240VAC universal input.
- Five protection layers. Burn-out protection, reverse battery connection, no-load, short circuit, and automatic shutdown when charging completes.
- OEM support. Connectors, output current, charging curve, labelling and packaging can be configured for your fleet or brand.

Charging current is reduced on 110VAC input for models rated 600W and above. Both input options are supported by the same 100-240VAC universal-input platform.

Protection Functions
- Burn-out protection: output is reduced when the charger temperature exceeds its limit, and the unit switches to standby above 65 degrees C ambient until it cools.
- Reverse battery connection: the internal circuit shuts down with the battery on reversed polarity, without damaging the charger.
- No-load protection: no output while no battery is connected.
- Short circuit protection: output shuts down on a short, and charging resumes only after the fault is cleared and the charger is restarted.
- Automatic shutdown: charging turns off once the battery is full.

Do you support BMS communication on your chargers?
Yes. Where the model supports it, the charger can communicate with the battery BMS over CAN or RS485 so charging stops at the values your BMS expects. The interface fitted to this model is listed in Key Specifications.
Can the charging curve be adjusted to our battery?
Yes. Charging voltage, current and the CC/CV stages can be set to your pack specification as part of an OEM / ODM order. Send your battery datasheet and we confirm the profile.
Can you supply the connector we already use?
Yes. We can fit your existing connector type and pin-out, or supply a matched connector and cable assembly.
Do you offer Custom Branding?
Yes. Custom Branding is available on the product label, housing and packaging for OEM and ODM programs.
How does sample development work?
